More about me:
As a trauma-informed LMFT-A, I bring experience working across levels of care, including adult PHP/IOP programs, marriage and couple's therapy. I completed my clinical internship within a faith-based organization, where I supported individuals and families navigating trauma, identity, and relational repair through a values-informed lens.
My clinical focus includes helping adult children and parents rebuild connection without sacrificing boundaries or autonomy. I work extensively with neurodiverse individuals and multicultural populations, approaching therapy in a structured, grounded, and relationally focused way. My goal is to help clients move out of survival patterns and into relationships that are stable, clear, and sustainable.
Many of the couples we work with are insightful, motivated, and well-informed. They understand the tools and concepts, yet continue to find themselves repeating the same relational patterns. This often leaves people feeling frustrated, confused, and disconnected despite their best efforts.
Through our own relational recovery, we came to understand how accumulated stress, unresolved conflict, trauma, and unmet attachment needs shape both nervous system responses and relational dynamics over time. When these patterns remain unaddressed, individuals and families can stay stuck in survival-driven cycle, not because they lack effort or awareness, but because their systems have learned to prioritize protection over connection.
This understanding shapes how I approach therapy.
My Specialties Include:
Couples and Family Systems
Addictions / Trauma
Neurodivergent
Reconciliation with Adult Children
Blended Families
Multicultural Populations
My work is grounded in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and systems-based practices that move beyond surface-level tools. I focus on helping couples and families slow down, regulate, and develop a clearer understanding of the patterns that keep them stuck.
When working with couples, my wife and I can provide co-therapy, viewing the individual, the marriage, and the family as interconnected parts of a living system. We work together with couples and, when helpful, meet individually with members of the system to support deeper insight and integration. Our goal is to help clients rebuild internal and relational safety, strengthen trust, and move toward relationships that are more stable, intentional, and sustainable.
